Grindhaus
Grindhouse proved to be a refreshing trip to the theater. Nothing says “pure entertainment” like a double feature consisting of faux movie trailers, an over-the-top zombie gore thriller, fake commercials, and ending in a classic Tarantino flick.
I don’t expect much out of Hollywood these days, and I generally keep low expectations for most projects. Luckily, Rodriguez and Tarantino do not disappoint, bringing originality and excitement to an unusal format.
