The main problem is that Wordpress for mobile like the iPhone one are far too much geeky. Uploading a picture with it is a nightmare (when it works). There are better ways to update a website with iPhone apps. Wordpress iPhone dev should have a look at the Facebook app for iPhone. It is so simple to update your status and publish photos/videos.
