According to Apple at WWDC, the TomTom will work with the iPod Touch and will improve the quality of Core Location (GPS) for all applications. This confirms rumors prior to WWDC that support scripts had been located in 3.0 for the TomTom and other GPS receivers. I am still hoping for support of inexpensive Blue Tooth GPS receivers as well since the second generation iPod Touch now supports Blue Tooth.
