Here Comes the Sun

Toyota recently announced that it will be adding solar equipment to its next-gen Prius (as well as reducing the vehicles weight to improve mpg).  The solar panels installed on the roof will aid in powering the hybrid’s air-conditioning system, of all things.

Now that’s just funny.

    god damn prius. why can’t they make it affordable? I would rather buy an 84 honda for 2 grand that gets 37 miles to the gallon than buy that car for 35k to get 45mpgs. I thought the people who bought that sh*t were suppose to be smart. Solar panels eh, thats kinda cool.
